This past Sunday, there were 3 people that showed up for the testing session, and by the end there were 3 new amateur radio tickets awarded!
Darrell Freeman (KE4KFP) passed EXTRA!
Keith Holcombe passed TECH! His call is KN4ITA
Robert Stone passed all 3 tests – TECH, GENERAL, and EXTRA! His call is KX4HY
Way to go! What a way to start 2018!
Have fun playing radio!
What a terrific time for breakfast at The Galloping Gallette in Braselton, GA! We enjoyed gallettes, crepes, coffee, tea, and each other’s company on a beautiful winter morning. This should definitely be done more often! Good food, friends old and new, and ham radio – what could be better, am I right? Janice N6ISV brought some homemade treats, Fabrice W4UQ and Nat K4NPC went home with new LED name badges, and the Galloping Gallette was a hit! Can’t wait to return and have another gathering with these fine friends!
Great breakfast enjoyed by all!
Cathy received her Technician license during our club meeting last night. Her new call sign is KN4DML, congratulations from all of us at TCARC!
Buddy KS4XR, Mark N4MKA and Charles W4CLE ended up just shy of 4000 points, not a bad day mobile. We covered several N.E. Georgia Counties that day. It is always a fun event!
